The simplest way to start swaging slugs: a fixed-weight kit for testing grain weights in your gun before moving up to a SlugMaster or a Freedom Press. One of the most accurate and repeatable systems for weight, with each slug within 2 grains.
  • Slug diameter: .177″ (4.500 mm), ±0.005 mm
  • Weights: 13, 16, 18, 20 grains. The kit makes one fixed weight; add more weights with additional weight inserts
  • Nose: hollow point
  • Base: flat base punch included; a second punch (dish base) as an option
  • Press: 2-ton press. Kit size: 26 mm across and 91 mm tall; needs a press opening of at least 125 mm
  • You need: Lead wire one calibre smaller than the slug (3.5 mm or less), lube such as WD-40, and a press
  • Material: Tool steel, hardened to 50–52 HRC
  • Made to order: 3–5 weeks. Ships worldwide by FedEx, DHL or UPS.

We make every GMI product after you order, and the lead time counts from the day your payment clears: SOC kits and SlugMaster 3–5 weeks, other tooling 4–6 weeks, and any order that includes a Freedom Press 5–9 weeks. Some parts are in stock and can ship sooner, so ask us on WhatsApp if you need yours quickly.

Shipping

FedEx, DHL or UPS. Shipping is free on orders of $300 and above. Orders under $300, such as punches, spares and accessories, pay a flat $50 shipping charge. Duties, import taxes and customs clearance charges are paid by the customer. Shipping & delivery.

Replacements

Because each product is made to order, we do not accept cancellations or refunds. Report shipping damage or a manufacturing defect within 7 days of delivery, with photos or video, and we replace it. Cancellations & returns.
