Full swaging control on your arbor press — no dedicated press required.
The SlugMaster delivers the capabilities of a dedicated swaging press in a kit that runs on a standard arbor press. It's our patent-pending answer for the shooter who wants a press's adjustability without a press's cost.
What it does. Adjust slug weight, set hollow-point depth, and form true boat tails — all from a single die, without buying a separate insert for every weight.
How it's built. A closed die with side bleed holes (auto-bleed — no trimming). An adjustable nut on the guide sets slug length and weight. A depth-adjustable pin holder locks hollow-point depth precisely. It uses the same Freedom V3 punches and pins as the Freedom Press, so your tooling carries forward if you upgrade later.
The honest trade-off. Like any hand-assembled kit, you reset the parts for each slug, so it's slower than a dedicated press. In exchange you get full adjustability — weight, nose, and base — in one compact kit at a fraction of the cost.
Calibers: .177 to .30.
Who it's for: experienced shooters who want maximum versatility from one kit, and who value adjustability over raw speed.
Note: These are tools and will require a hydraulic press system to use them.
Additional Inserts
- The slugmaster can form slugs of different caliber by changing the die body and its punch. The remaining parts of the SlugMaster can be used as it is, thus saving you the cost of buying all extra spares just to make different caliber slug.
- The cost of the insert for the SlugMaster is $300, and will include a punch of your choice. You can also add an additonal punch as required for an additonal $100.

Package Contents
- The kit will consist of a base, sliding base, sliding base pin, ejector pin, die body, guide base, split guide and punch.
- The die body included will have all the required parts to start making slugs out of the box, all you need more is some lead wire and a press.

- Press rating - 2 ton for upto .22 cal and 4 ton for upto .30 cal
- A hydraulic press is recommended for best results and performance of the kit.
